Basin Street East

Basin Street East was a notable jazz nightclub of the 1960s in New York City. The club was located on the ground floor of the Shelton Towers Hotel (later called The Halloran House, then The New York Marriott East Side) on Lexington Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets. Originally known as La Vie en Rose, renamed Casa Cugat in 1958, and Basin Street East in 1959. Closed 1967.

Capacity was 340.
