Recording studio owned by [a341085]. Originally known as [l155284], it originally was located in the basement of [a1186609]'s house in Hendersonville. It moved to a new location on Rockland Road, in Hendersonville, TN in 1972. In 1984, the studio had a major upgrade and was rebranded as Acorn Sound Recorders.

During the period when it was known as Super Sound, the studio also ran a label used to release "Custom" / Vanity projects by its clients: [l321962].

Finally, in the late 1990's, Ricky Skaggs "purchased Acorn Recorders from the Oak Ridge Boys. He then renamed the studio as [l451136].
