BMG U.S. Latin

This division of [l1003] was originally formed in 1987 as a label successor to the RCA Latin organization. [l132178] was formed to develop, manage and market Spanish-language 'Latin' artists in the U.S. and Puerto Rico from its headquarters in Miami (Coral Gables, Florida).

To develop the Tejano market, [l132178] also opened a sales and marketing office in San Antonio, Texas in 1994. The growing roster of [l132178] features [a905530], [a71190], [a120848], [a1518499] and [a1441640].

Also referred to as BMG US Latin. See BMG International U.S. Latin for variants that include "International" in the logo.

This division was later renamed to [l212396] after the fusion with [l29073] and a majority of artist publishing to [l92175] in 2004.
