The British Broadcasting Corporation ([l101418]) first introduced its own record label in 1967. It has used various names through the years. Please be sure to use the correct label:

With a remit to release singles and albums connected to TV and radio programmes (plus royal souvenirs), its output has been extremely varied and takes in a large amount of spoken-word material as well as music in a wide range of styles including theme music released as singles. The BBC Radiophonic Workshop established in 1958 created experimental music and other sounds used for programmes.
