Angel Studios is a beautiful state of the art recording studio in the heart of Angel, Islington. With a long history of working with some of the World’s most talented artists, musicians and composers. We’re thrilled to keep the historic legacy of Angel Studios alive, reopening in 2022 as part of the Abbey Road family. Originally built as the Islington Chapel in 1888, and later converted into a studio in 1982, Angel One is an exceptional space with a beautiful character, a rich history, and truly world class sound. Home to an exceptional fully restored 1917 Steinway Model D Concert Grand, and the original iconic Seethly pipe organ that was used in Jaws 3D. This exceptional space has a unique character, warmth and a truly world class sound that’s become a trusted home for the world’s leading musicians, artists and composers.
Today, the Abbey Road team brings world-class engineering, production expertise, and a dedication to every single artist and project that goes through Angel's doors. Angel Studios also serves as the London base for the Abbey Road Institute, offering students the rare and unmatched opportunity to learn in two of the world’s finest recording spaces.
