Allen Farnham has become quite important to jazz, not just as a pianist/arranger but also behind the scenes as a producer at the Concord label, where he has worked on more than 50 releases.

Farnham first played piano when he was 12 and in 1983 he graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio, where he also gigged with Ernie Krivda.
