Alexander Abreu Manresa is a singer, songwriter, arranger and trumpet player born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, on September 6, 1976.

He is one of the most renowned modern Cuban musicians having been active on the island's musical scene since he graduated from Havana's prestigious Escuela Nacional de Arte (National Art School) in 1994.
