A French violinist born in Montargis on December 22, 1943, Alain Moglia has made a name for himself with his versatility of repertoire in a wide range of ensembles.

The son of an amateur violinist, he took private lessons in Mantes-la-Jolie before entering the Paris Conservatoire in 1955, where he was awarded first prize at the age of sixteen.
